Department of Public Safety

Our Department takes great pride in providing all community members with exemplary law enforcement, emergency management, and fire safety services.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the Baylor University Police Department operates marked patrol vehicles on campus, a bicycle unit, a Criminal Investigation unit, and a Crime Prevention unit.

Emergency Management leads the campus toward preparation for, and efficient response to, emergencies and disasters to save lives, reduce human suffering and minimize property loss and the disruption to academic services.

Parking & Transportation manages all aspects of campus parking for faculty, staff, students and visitors.

Technical Security manages and administers call boxes and emergency telephones, card access systems, security cameras and intrusion/alarm systems.

Supporting the health, safety and security of students, faculty and staff who travel.
