Apple iPhone

To activate and add your Baylor Digital ID to your Apple Wallet, you first need an eligible device with a passcode (at minimum) enabled:

  • An Apple ID signed into iCloud
  • iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or later running the latest version of iOS
  • Apple Watch Series 1, or later running the latest version of watchOS

To enhance the security of your Baylor Digital ID, your iPhone must be registered on Baylor’s Duo two-factor authentication platform. For further instructions, visit helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu/duo

Now, do the following to activate your Baylor Digital ID

  • If you have not done so, upload a photo to idphoto.baylor.edu. If you do not upload a photo, your Baylor Digital ID card will not be able to be added to your Apple Wallet.

  • Download the GET Mobile app published by The CBORD Group in the Finance category from the App Store. The app logo features the word GET in a circle and is black and white.

  • Open GET Mobile and select Baylor University from the list of institutions
  • Log in using your Bear ID, password, and Duo two-factor authentication
  • Choose whether to "Enable Face ID" for your device (you can skip this step)
  • Set a PIN for your Baylor Digital ID (you cannot skip this step)
  • On the next screen, enter your phone number
  • When the sample card appears, click the small "Add to Apple Wallet" icon. If you have more than one Apple device, your iPhone may be listed along with Apple Watch and other devices.  If you want to authorize these devices, go back through the “Add to Apple Wallet” process again once your iPhone is authorized.
  • Keep the GET Mobile app on your device to help manage you Baylor Digital ID

Report any issues using your Baylor Digital ID to HelpDesk+ in person on the First Level of Moody Memorial Library, by phone at (254) 710-4357, or using HelpDesk+ Chat at helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu. Be prepared to share the following when reporting an issue:

  • What date/time did the issue occur?
  • What does the issue you are having involve? Did you encounter an issue within the app, at the reader, etc.?
  • Did this issue occur multiple times (i.e. would we be able to reproduce it or was it a one-time occurrence)?
  • If you send an email, please describe the issue and include screenshots or videos of the issue to help us recreate the problem.
