To activate and add your Baylor Digital ID to your Apple Wallet, you first need an eligible device with a passcode (at minimum) enabled:
- An Apple ID signed into iCloud
- iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or later running the latest version of iOS
- Apple Watch Series 1, or later running the latest version of watchOS
To enhance the security of your Baylor Digital ID, your iPhone must be registered on Baylor’s Duo two-factor authentication platform. For further instructions, visit helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu/duo
Now, do the following to activate your Baylor Digital ID
If you have not done so, upload a photo to idphoto.baylor.edu. If you do not upload a photo, your Baylor Digital ID card will not be able to be added to your Apple Wallet.
Download the GET Mobile app published by The CBORD Group in the Finance category from the App Store. The app logo features the word GET in a circle and is black and white.
- Open GET Mobile and select Baylor University from the list of institutions
- Log in using your Bear ID, password, and Duo two-factor authentication
- Choose whether to "Enable Face ID" for your device (you can skip this step)
- Set a PIN for your Baylor Digital ID (you cannot skip this step)
- On the next screen, enter your phone number
- When the sample card appears, click the small "Add to Apple Wallet" icon. If you have more than one Apple device, your iPhone may be listed along with Apple Watch and other devices. If you want to authorize these devices, go back through the “Add to Apple Wallet” process again once your iPhone is authorized.
- Keep the GET Mobile app on your device to help manage you Baylor Digital ID
Report any issues using your Baylor Digital ID to HelpDesk+ in person on the First Level of Moody Memorial Library, by phone at (254) 710-4357, or using HelpDesk+ Chat at helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu. Be prepared to share the following when reporting an issue:
- What date/time did the issue occur?
- What does the issue you are having involve? Did you encounter an issue within the app, at the reader, etc.?
- Did this issue occur multiple times (i.e. would we be able to reproduce it or was it a one-time occurrence)?
- If you send an email, please describe the issue and include screenshots or videos of the issue to help us recreate the problem.

A: The Baylor Digital ID in Apple Wallet is a Baylor initiative whereby your iPhone and Apple Watch can take on the functionality of a physical card.

A: You can use your student ID card on up to two devices (one iPhone and one Apple Watch) that are signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID.

• You should use Find My iPhone to suspend or deactivate your Baylor Digital ID in Apple Wallet. Instructions for Lost/Found Apple devices and Find My iPhone are located at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201472
• Visit HelpDesk+ on the First level of Moody Memorial Library on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., call (254) 710-4357, or use HelpDesk+ Chat at helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu to notify us to deactivate the card in the Wallet for that device. You can also flag the iPhone lost at idcard.baylor.edu
- You can reactivate a found device that was suspended via iCloud.com or contact HelpDesk+ if your Baylor Digital ID has been deactivated.
A:
• You should first remove your pass from your old device in the Apple Wallet app
• Once your old pass is removed, you can add your pass to the new device by using the GET Mobile app.
A: When using Express Mode (iPhone 6s or later), your Baylor Digital ID will not be displayed with other cards in Apple Wallet for security reasons.
A: If you are using Express Mode, you do not have to do anything. If you are not using Express Mode, you will have to authenticate each time you access your phone. This is a user security preference. Note: Express Mode is turned on by default.
A: On iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and more recent Express Mode with power reserve is available for up to five hours after the device’s battery needs to be charged.
A: Your Baylor Digital ID in Apple Wallet can be used even if iPhone or Apple Watch does not have network connectivity, as the Baylor Digital ID is stored on your device. If you are having any difficulty using your Baylor Digital ID to complete a transaction, report any issues to the HelpDesk+ on the First level of Moody Memorial Library, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., call (254) 710-4357, or use HelpDesk+ Chat at helpdeskplus.web.baylor.edu.
A: There is no cost to use your Baylor Digital ID.
A: Yes, an approved photo is required for eligibility.
A: All Baylor faculty, staff, and students are eligible as long as they meet all device and software requirements.
A: Your other device will continue to work; however, you should mark the missing device as lost on icloud.com until it is found.
A: Once your Baylor Digital ID Card is activated on your iPhone or Apple Watch, simply tap the device to any reader!
