Visitor Parking Guidelines
Permits
A valid Baylor parking permit is required to park on campus Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. *
*(Exception: Infrequent Visitors)
Campus visitor parking is free and yearly online registration is simple.
Visitor parking accounts are intended solely for individuals not associated with Baylor University. Students, Faculty and Staff members should obtain a Student or Faculty/Staff permit from Parking Services to park on campus.
Frequent Visitors (More than 1 visit in 30 days)
If you will be visiting the campus on several occasions, please set up a visitor's parking account and register your vehicle(s).
Registration is simple and can be completed in our online portal by clicking on My Parking Account. You will be asked for some basic contact information and will need to know your vehicle license plate number.
Infrequent Visitors (1 visit in 30 days)
If you visit campus on rare occasions, specifically defined as 1 visit in 30 days, you may park on campus without registration*. Parking Services recommends registering when reasonable.
*Some vehicles may not be eligible.
Rental Vehicles
Rental vehicles should be added to My Parking Account and then removed when no longer parking on campus.
Visitor permits are virtual with no physical permit/sticker and are tied to the vehicle's license plate. A vehicle's LICENSE PLATE MUST BE CORRECT. JUST 1 NUMBER OR LETTER BEING INCORRECT OR OUT OF PLACE WILL RESULT IN CITATIONS AND TOWING.
Permit owners are responsible for updating their vehicle information if they get a different vehicle, different license plate number or temporarily drive a different vehicle to campus.
License plates (rear or front) must be easily visible to the parking lot aisle/roadway. License plates displayed behind objects (bicycle racks, bumper guards) or on a vehicle dashboard are not acceptable.
Parking permits are transferable from the permit owner's vehicle to another vehicle in their possession. The permit is NOT transferable from person to person.
Parking Locations
Visitors are encouraged to park in the provided visitor parking areas. In the absence of marked visitor parking, Visitors may park in non-reserved Student or Faculty/Staff spaces. Visitors should specifically avoid parking in reserved spaces such as: Student parking in the 5th Street Garage (above the 2nd floor), Hall Director, Maintenance, Faculty In Residence, etc.
