The Baylor Police Department has many programs in place to help enhance the safety of the campus. The members of the Baylor Police Department encourage you to review and use these programs, which will enhance your safety and the overall safety of the community.
Crime Free Multi-Housing
The Crime Free Multi-Housing program is designed to build a partnership between police and managers of off-campus rental properties. The program helps to reduce crime, drugs, and other criminal activity on the rental properties.
Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills

Bicycle Registration
Special Event Staffing Request
Once your special event has been approved by the University, the Baylor Police Department’s Special Event Coordinator is available to confer with you to discuss your security needs to help ensure the success of your event. The Special Event Coordinator can be reached by call 710-7644.
Late Hour Transportation
Baylor Parking and Transportation Service offers two options for after normal business hours transportation.

We encourage you to take advantage of Parking and Transportation shuttle services.
Med-Return Drug Disposal Kiosk
BUPD has obtained a drug disposal kiosk from the Voices Against Drug Abuse Organization. This disposal box is located in the lobby of the Police Department allowing you drop off you expired medications at your convenience.
